About Us
Express Care Pharmacy is a family owned and operated business founded by Greg and Christy Poythress in 2008. They have a combined over 20 years experience in long term care pharmacy.
Express Care provides comprehensive pharmacy services to nursing homes, assisted living communities, family care homes and group homes throughout North Carolina and Virginia.
Our employees include Pharmacist and certified technicians, dedicated to providing complete pharmacy services by exceeding expectations and meeting the needs of our customers and patients.

Greg is originally from Wilson, North Carolina. He attended Barton College, where he played baseball and received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He then went on to receive a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Campbell University School of Pharmacy. He is a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacist and has practiced long term care pharmacy for 12 years. He lives in Greenville, NC with his wife, Christy and their two children. In his spare time, Greg coaches baseball for his son’s little league team. |

Christy is originally from West Tennessee. She attended Campbell University School of Pharmacy and received a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She is a member of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacist and has practiced in long term care pharmacy for 8 years. She is a wife to Greg and a mother to their 2 children. |
